Infants

Children at around 18 months go through a process of individualization and developing an experience of separateness from their parents. The Montessori system promotes feelings of intelligence, self-confidence and strength by providing as many activities as possible to encourage them to be independent in their own little ways.

Toddlers

At this age, children are meeting new challenges as fast as they come. Walking, running, and hands on Montessori are levels they accomplish in what seems like a blink of an eye. Children learn best if they are in a stimulating environment. Music, dance, soccer, stories, outdoor play, and learning simplicities envelop much of the day. Our teachers are dedicated to helping each child develop these skills through a trusting and loving relationship.

Preschoolers

A good preschool can make a difference in a child’s future school years. We offer individual programs for children to help them learn in an environment that is stress free and fun. Our teachers incorporate theme-related materials, individual attention and child-engagement. Our preschoolers explore music, science, math, language arts, Montessori, and manipulative play.

Kindergarten

At Maria’s Montessori School, our kindergarten program is designed for children who are five years old by September 1. This important year builds strong academic foundations while nurturing confidence, independence, and leadership through hands-on Montessori methods and combined standard of education the child started as a novice grew to an apprentice, and now the kindergarten class is carefully structured and integrated to demonstrate. The year highlights the students to develop in advanced reading, math critical thinking and social skills – preparing them beautifully for first grade and beyond.

As children get older and more independent, they need new challenges. We offer enrichment programs that address the changing and more varied needs of growing children. Reading, math, and science activities ensure that your child’s mind is engaged and help create a lifelong love of learning and exploration.
